Post-production editing is very much part of my dog photography workflow and, dogs being dogs, it’s not always easy to get a picture of them without a host of other things in the way: leads, hands, people, other dogs, grass, graffiti, birds, shadows. The list is endless…
With my post-production training I will first take you through my workflow in Adobe Lightroom, where you will learn the basics of editing and benefit from my years of experience using this software. I’ll also show you my favourite shortcuts that will save you lots of time.
From Lightroom we will head over to Adobe Photoshop where I will show you how I do my more ‘in-depth’ edits, of pictures as described above, where you got the shot but it’s just not quite right and you need to add and subtract a few things and make it the composition you had in mind.
I’ll show you quick and easy ways to do the edits you’ve always wanted to do. We will work on your own images, so you can take away improvements to your own work.
Four hours will get you a good overview of Lightroom and an in-depth look into how I use Photoshop. If you feel you need more time you are welcome to come back for more later.
This is a 1-1 session with myself in my home in either Brighton, Exeter, Devon or Abingdon, Oxfordshire. It’s more helpful for you to bring your own laptop with you but if you don’t have a laptop you can have a go with mine, or I can come to you too if you don’t have a laptop. Please enquire for a quote for me to travel to you to do this training.
1-1 or 2-1? I don’t mind if it’s you on your own or if you want to share the cost with a friend that’s fine. I have space for up to two people in any of the locations mentioned above.
